systems provide notification of a need for assistance to a pre-defined list of
contacts.
Simply program in contact phone numbers and pre-record an outgoing message. When
the panic button is pressed, the medical alarm console begins dialing contact
numbers in order and will play the pre-recorded message when picked-up.
These devices do not offer the unsurpassed security of
professionally
monitored medical alarm systems. However, for those situations were a local
network of available responders exist, these emergency telephone auto-dialers
work well.
